Full Support for MySQL as Data Provider
03/04/2012 by Jan Petter Bergfjord
In December 2011 a development team investigated the possibility for supporting MySQL as a data provider in Genus® Logix. A test solution based on My SQL successfully passed the alpha test at this point.
Full support for MySQL is now provided by Genus® Logix, and the first customer solution based on MySQL is currently being developed.
MySQL is an open source relational database management system. Free software/open source projects that require a full-featured database management system often use MySQL. MySQL is also used in many high-profile, large-scale World Wide Web products, including Wikipedia, Google, Facebook, and Twitter.
